Prichard, Veronica (nee Lubbers) passed away peacefully at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Saturday March 30, 2024, at the age of 51.

Born in Clinton, ON July 26, 1972, to parents Nellie and the late Alex Lubbers.

Veronica was the loving wife and best friend of Edward Prichard. Proud mother of Alexandrea, Bethany (Jeremiah), Theodore (Michelle), Gabriel and Miranda and cherished grandmother of Alex.

She was the dear sister of Ralph Lubbers (Line), Len Lubbers (Bonnie), Caroline Johnston (Tim) and Nel Slater (Paul). She will be remembered by Ed’s parents Hugh and Rachel Prichard, her sisters-in-law Alexandra (David), Alice (Ben), brother-in-law William (Kathyrn) and many nieces and nephews.

Veronica was the most kind and thoughtful person, she was always taking care of others and willing to help those in need. She had a beautiful smile that lit up the room and a heart that was open to all.

Without question Veronica’s greatest pride and joy was her family, she was always loving, attentive and supportive. Her family and friends will all miss her deeply.

Veronica faced her cancer with courage and grace and as she neared her death, she asked that people celebrate her life. She wanted to put the “FUN” in funeral and asked that her family honour her request.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday April 4, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. A FUNeral service will be held at the church at 1 p.m. on Friday April 5, 2024. In lieu of flowers donations to First Presbyterian Church – Love Your Neighbour may be made in Veronica’s name.
