It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Otterbein, a cherished father, and friend. Brian was born on July 6, 1943, in Acton, Ontario and from a young age, he displayed a passion for life, forging enduring friendships and creating countless lasting memories.
Beyond his love for golf, Brian was a man who treasured his family and friends above all else. He had an innate ability to light up any room with his warm smile and engaging presence. He had a remarkable way of making everyone around him feel at ease and appreciated.
Brian’s devotion to his family was unwavering. He leaves behind his children Karen and Fraser Otterbein and their mother Nikki Otterbein. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Brian’s memory will live on in our hearts, in the stories we share, and in the greens, he tread upon with passion. May he find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held on a later date when his family can come back together. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Parkinson Society, as it was a cause close to Brian’s heart.
