Orsan, Marianne Eveline (nee Robertson)
February 18, 1979 – February 6, 2023.
Peacefully and with grace, Marianne Eveline Orsan (nee Robertson) passed in her home, surrounded by her dearest loved ones.
Marianne’s strength and courage were inspiring. Her five-year duel with metastatic breast cancer was extraordinary. Her infectious smile and laughter filled a room and her kindness knew no bounds. Everyone who was privileged to have known her, is a better person for it.
Marianne is survived by her adoring husband and soulmate Scott, her wonderful daughters Leah and Katie, her devoted big sister Vanessa, her loving parents, Dana and Brent, Hilda and Dave, many cousins, extended family and her countless cherished friends. She will be reunited with her dad, Rick, who predeceased her in 2001. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday February 10, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3 o’clock. A reception to celebrate Marianne’s life will follow in the funeral home lounge. Service Members are welcome to attend in uniform.
