OKUM, Marjorie Betty Coote (nee Massey)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday August 4, 2023 at Meaford Long Term Care in her 88th year. Devoted wife of the late Elwin Coote (1990) and Norman Okum (2020). Loving mother of Alana Colwell (Jeff), Keith Coote (Charlene), Scott Coote (Robin) and Brett Coote (Allison). Cherished grandmother of Jordan (Noelly), Jeremy (Amanda), Morgan, Grace and great grandmother of Hayden, Jonas, Madeleine and Nora. Marjorie stayed at home and raised her family. Family was an important part of her life and enjoyed the many visits with her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 1p.m. at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest with her first husband Elwin in the Nobleton Community Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances of Marjorie may be made to Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
