Joseph Brian Oakley was Born in Penetanguishene and raised in Nobleton Ontario by Joseph Ernest and Olga Hilda Oakley. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend who lived his life to the fullest, and embodied his signature expression “Charge Onward”.

He valued hard work and was passionate about his career as a lineman with Brampton Hydro. He was always willing to help someone out and he spent a lot of his spare time finishing projects in woodworking, electrical, or home repairs for friends and family. He could build and fix just about anything (or at least he would try).

He passed at the age of 68 on December 9 at Orillia Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife Sandra (MacDonald) Oakley and daughter Lauren Oakley. He is also survived by his Sister Cindy (George) Paolantonio, by his brother Brennan (Julie) Oakley, and by his loving cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation for the Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family. To sign his Book of Memoires, please visit www.carruthersdavidson.com
