NOSEWORTHY, Lillian ( née Greeley )

Passed away peacefully on Thursday March 28, at Trillium Manor in Orillia in her 87th year.

Lillian is now reunited with her beloved husband Victor (2019). She was the cherished mother of Terry and his wife Mary. Treasured Nana of Vicky and her husband Bradley Hill. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanna.

She was one of 13 children born in Tilton, NL to Thomas and Suzanna Greeley. She is survived by her brother Kevin ( the late Yvonne ) and sister-in-laws Gloria and Myrtle. Predeceased by brothers John (Minnie), Will (Irene), Sam, Clifford, and sisters Louise (Bert), Annie (Harold), Muriel (George), Edith (John).

Lillian was never afraid to share her opinion. She was a no-nonsense type and had a true east coast humour, her ability to laugh and make people laugh will never be forgotten. She never missed a chance to host a party or holiday function as she loved to cook a Newfie dinner for everyone. Her family was the centre of her world, especially her granddaughter Vicky. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She shared a special bond with her niece Susan who will miss her dearly.

On April 5, 1958 she and Victor joined their lives together in marriage and on Friday April 5, 2024 her life will be celebrated at Fawcett Funeral Home - Collingwood Chapel at 1pm with visitation one hour prior.
