Lillian was affectionately known by her daughters’ co-workers at Metro as Metro Mom. She was known as Mom by many great people.  She was also known as the Candy lady, always had candy in her pockets.  Mom was an avid knitter.  She made countless dresses (at least 3,000) and shorts (1,000 pairs) for the young boys and girls in the Dominican that were under privileged or had very little.  She has made baby blankets for young expectant mothers in her community.  Some are now being past on to the next generation of expectant parents.  Over the years she has contributed to the Christmas Shoe Box to send Christmas gifts and joy to other countries.

An incredible woman who gave of her time and talent.  She will be greatly missed.

The family is grateful to all the nursing staff at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood where she received excellent care.
