Vanessa Murphy passed away suddenly on the evening of September 15, 2020. Vanessa was predeceased by her parents, Constance Murphy (Hogg), and Wyman Murphy. Vanessa leaves behind her grandparents Francis and David Hogg. She will forever be missed by her siblings, Mark Hogg (Karrina), Steve Pyke (Sara), Matthew Pyke (Sarah) and Angela Pyke (Brian). She was the loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews- Jade, Bailey, Breanna, and Ethan Hogg, Isabella Stockfish, and Keegan, Charlotte and Jackson Pyke. Vanessa will be missed and forever remembered by her many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Vanessa left this world with her beloved dog O.J. who filled her life with so much love and joy. Friends will be received at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Sunday September 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held. Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance is limited to a specific number of visitors within our funeral home at any one time. Once you leave our building, please proceed to your vehicle and depart. We thank you for respecting the current regulations in place for the health and safety of all our visitors that are enforced from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario and Public Health. If desired, a memorial donation may be made to the Collingwood Food Bank, would be appreciated by her family.
