It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Sonia on March 27, 2023, in Guelph. She is now in heaven surrounded by angels.
Loving mother to Allen (Jackie). Predeceased by her dearest husband Joseph More, sons Jerry and Donald (Coralie) and brothers Alfred Fromager and Neil Fromager.
Sonia was born in Owen Sound in 1935 to parents Frank and Hilda Fromager (both deceased). She married her soul mate Joseph in 1954 and following several moves settled in Guelph with her family. Sonia held several positions in the hospitality trade until her retirement, which she greatly enjoyed. Her passions included home cooking, caring for her cats, spending quality time with family, adding to her treasured collections and relaxation.
Sonia will be sadly missed by her family and long-time friends from Owen Sound. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the kind medical professionals and care takers that assisted her in her latter years.
