Milligan, Marc Bradley

On Friday December 9, 2022, at precisely 8:37 am our fun loving, quick witted and vibrant Marc took his last breath and ascended to heaven to be reunited with his father Frank and his beloved dog Calli. Marc was in his 43rd year. Born on September 12, 1980, in Collingwood Ontario. Marc entered the world full of spirit and left the same mark when he left it. Marc was able to achieve his last wish by passing away surrounded by the beautiful shores of Georgian bay in the loving arms of his soul mate and love of his life Leeann along with his best friend and younger brother Drew, his beloved mother Karen, and his loving dog Monkey. Marc passed away with dignity and was surrounded by those who loved him dearly. Marc courageously battled an aggressive cancer that unfortunately took away his ability to speak; yet throughout his illness Marc continued to be more concerned about the wellbeing of others rather than focusing on himself. That was the beauty of this remarkable man, he was a protector and was always putting others first. Marc’s quick wit and energy was still present even in his worst times. He was able to find humor in simple things. Marc will be forever cherished in the hearts of his son Jacob, who was the light of his life, brother Dane, sister in law Jessica Sheerin, his many cousins, aunts as well as his many friends from near and afar.  Along with his father Marc is now reunited with his grandparents James and Margaret Milligan and Elwyn (Al) and Dawn Strandholt.

Marc loved to travel and enjoyed quiet car rides up to lake Eugenia. Two of Marc’s most memorable trips were to Sayulita and Yelapa in Mexico.  Marc was an avid snowboarder and boater; he had a passion for the outdoors and appreciated the simple beauty of nature.

Please join the family to celebrate Marc’s life on Saturday January 14, 2023, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood from 1-4 p.m. with remembrances at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy please consider a donation to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
