McIntosh, Laurie Jean (nee Davidson/Glenn)
died suddenly on Thursday April 6, 2023 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston at the age of 65. Laurie of Alliston, formerly of Stayner, loving mother of Crystal Glenn and Kim (Joe Mendicino). Cherished grandmother of Robert Brown and Milo and Jaida Mendicino. Dear sister of Vivian Davidson, Elizabeth (Eric Williams), Larry Davidson, Donald (Grace) Sample, Patrica Rawlings, Rosemary (John Buttineau) and the late Linda Sample. Laurie is predeceased by her parents Albert (Shorty) Semple/Sample and Viola Garbutt/Davidson. She was a kind and loving woman who cherished her family. She enjoyed crafting and decorating for any occasion. Line dancing was her passion for many years. She was a longtime employee and an extremely hard worker at Reinhart Foods Ltd. and recently retired following 20+ years at Honda Canada Mfg. She will be missed dearly. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Sunday April 16, 2023 from 1 pm for the Funeral Service at 2 o’clock.
