Passed away peacefully at the Collingwood Nursing Home on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at the age of 86. Nancy, beloved wife of the late James Montgomery McConnell (2012) will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Donald, and Peter and his wife Christa. Cherished grandmother of John and Lauren. Born in Quebec City, QC to parents Thomas and Rita Goodfellow, Nancy is survived by her brothers Donnie and Brent, predeceased by her brother Peter.
Nancy worked as a nurse at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital for many years. She was driven by a passion to help others; her life was a living example of kindness and compassion. All of those she loved will deeply miss her.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Monday March 13, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
