Died suddenly on Friday September 25, 2020 at his home at the age of 77. Grant of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Orangeville, beloved partner of Jacqueline DiPietro. Dear father of the late Krystal, Aaron (Penny), Sheena (Frank) and Sarah. Loving grandfather of Zoey, Hendrix, Emberley, Leo, Kiera and Naomi. Loving brother of Patricia (Jerry Bulpitt). He is predeceased by his parents Ellwood and Thelma Madill (nee McGowan). Grant was a quiet and polite man who enjoyed the company of his friends. He had a passion for music, playing the drums, organ and singing for many bands where he travelled the country playing. He was also a car enthusiast owning many special vehicles over the years including a 1930 Roadster straight out of American Grafitti. He also enjoyed travelling the world with Jackie. Grant will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Tuesday September 29, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. A Private family service with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville will be held later that day. If desired, a donation to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation for the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Grant’s family. 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance is limited to a specific number of persons within the facility at any one time. You are requested to schedule you attendance through the reservation system on this website. You are instructed to arrive just a few minutes prior to your desired time. Staff will advise when space permits within the funeral home. Face coverings are mandatory within the facility. The visitation time is allocated to 15 minutes. Please be aware that others will have scheduled their time with Grant's family. Gathering outside of the facility is not permitted. Once you leave the facility, please move to your vehicle and depart.
