In the early morning hours on Friday, June 9th, 2023, Hendrik Luimes passed away at the age of 87 into the welcoming arms of his Lord and Saviour. Loving husband of the late Anneke (Visser) for more than 46 years. Devoted father to his daughter, Teresa of Orangeville and son, Andrew of Wasaga Beach. Henk was one of eight children and is survived by his sister, Rita, of Navan, Ontario. He was also the dear brother of his late sisters Sena, Linda and Diane and pre-deceased by his brothers Gerrit, Albert and John. Henk was a good-natured and friendly person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
Interment to take place at Ebenezer Cemetery located at 4250 Concession 12 Sunnidale Road in Wasaga Beach at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24th.
This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12 Noon at Faith Missionary Church, 1355 River Road in Wasaga Beach.
