With his daughter, Janice and husband Mike by his side, Don passed away peacefully in the morning of Sunday, January 8th, 2023, at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood.

Don was born on January 27th, 1932 in Toronto, his parents being Zella Sewell and Gordon Jackson Little.  Don is predeceased by his 2 half brothers, George Munson, Reginald McKinnon and 1 half sister Doris Wellar.

He graduated from Ryerson in Electrical Engineering and worked in Peterborough then in Toronto at Switch Gear in engineering and sales. Don is a very friendly, fun and humorous gentleman.  He had many wonderful friends. He enjoyed playing competitive tennis, both at the city provincial and Canadian championship levels, winning 31 championships.  He also played badminton, golf and biking on the many network of trails in Toronto.  His hobbies were photography and genealogy as it fascinated him to learn about his ancestors who emigrated from Ireland to Flesherton, Ontario.

Don has had a good life and sports and music have played a very big role.  He enjoyed playing piano and then the electronic organ.  Don’s favourite meal was filet mignon.  He loved people who were friendly and talked about their life stories.  The greatest lesson Don learned was to be kind to people.

He will be fondly remembered by her Step-Grandchildren, many friends and family.  Don will be cremated with interment in the Little family plot with a service at Prospect Cemetery at a later date.

Donations to Campbell House in Collingwood would be appreciated https://hospicegeorgiantriangle.com/donate/.   He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.  Night Night until we meet again.
