Died peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 88.
Bill, of Wasaga Beach, was the beloved husband of Elaine for over 60 years. Loving father of Al (Susan) and Lynda (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Connor (Jinny), Steven, Darcy (Cam) and Kyle. Dear brother of Nancy (late Noel). Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill worked for Ford Canada for 30+ years and was a long-time member of the Wasaga Beach Lions Club. He enjoyed many years boating at the Port Perry Yacht Club and was an avid golfer and curler.
Per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Wasaga Beach Lions Hall, 1724 Mosley St, Wasaga Beach from 2pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
