Donald "Sandy" Alexander Lamont age 58. Passed away Saturday June 10, 2023, at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Born July 12, 1964 to parents Robert Allen Lamont and Shirley Hirlehey. Sandy Grew up in Stayner Ontario with his little brother Allen Lamont.
Sandy's Passion was Butchery, during the week you would find Sandy working alongside his Father at the family owned butcher Shop in Minesing. On weekends Sandy would either be at a function BBQing a pig roast or a beef roast or playing music alongside his family in the Pipe Band. If he was not alongside family, he was with friends at the river doing his favourite hobby FISHING!
In high school he met his sweetheart Jo-Anna Lamont (nee Fisher). Jo-Anna and Sandy had two girls together Candice Megan Lamont (Spouse Ken Van Essen) and Zeita-Marie Lamont (Spouse Evan Prewitt). His favourite thing in life was being a proud Papa to Cahley, Ramona, Raquelle, Rosa-lee and Shayden.
He will be remembered for his big sense of humor and will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Family will be having a private celebration of life in the summer.
