Peacefully, in the presence of his family on Friday, January 28, 2022, in his 87th year at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood. Predeceased by his father Edward, mother Helena and brother Vladimir.  Edward, beloved husband and best friend of 61 years of Eva. Loving father of Marcela Marijosius and Eva Klimsa. Doting grandfather of Kristina, Tomas and Amelia. Edward is survived by his brother Antonin Klimsa and his wife Zoska of the Czech Republic.

Edward, an electrician by trade, arrived in Canada on September 11, 1969 with his wife Eva and two small children Marcela and Eva Jr.  He worked for the City of Toronto and was know by all his family, friends and colleagues as a loyal, honest and hard working man with an incredible sense of humour.  A lover of music, history, photography and world politics Edward loved nothing more than to sit and have a good conversation.  In 1975 Edward and Eva purchased a cottage in Wasaga Beach where many years of beautiful memories were created.  This included many visits from their parents and family members from the Czech Republic.  After retirement Edward and Eva made Wasaga their permanent residence and continued to build a vast sea of memories for their children, grandchildren, family and friends.  Edward will be greatly missed by all.

Friends will be received at the Carruthers and Davidson Funeral Home, Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1:00 PM for a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
