November 27, 1945- June 26, 2023

It is with sadness and much love that the family mourns the sudden and peaceful passing of Camille Juteau-Kent, born in Noranda. Camille will be lovingly remembered by her husband Beau, children Yvan and Dominique (Mique), son in law Ian, grandchildren Lune and Starling, sisters Paule (Gerald) and Danielle (Boris), nephews Lawrence (Carolyn), Michael (Angie), nieces Alexandra, Natasha (Daniel), and close friends.

After meeting Beau in Kitzbuhel in 1971, she traveled for 5 years to Europe, Australia, Thailand, Bali, and Japan before returning to Toronto. A two week visit turned into 47 years! Camille initially taught swimming and then French at several schools for many years and every year, she organized the Terry Fox Run. In 2021 Camille was honored with a plaque for 40 years of participation. After retiring, Camille was the Liaison des Ecoles Francophones at the Terry Fox Foundation, promoting the run in the French schools.

She loved the outdoors, taught alpine skiing, was a snowboard instructor extraordinaire and spent many hours riding and grooming her horses.

She will be remembered as the wild spirit of the Juteau clan. She absolutely adored and was extremely proud of Yvan and Mique. Camille made everyone feel special and was caring, fun and high energy.

An outdoor celebration of life will be held at the family home on July 22nd at 2 pm. Please contact the funeral home for address information. The family encourages having a Camille story or remembrance to share at the celebration.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation Terry Fox Donation or the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County Alzheimer Donation would be appreciated. Friends may visit Camille's online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
