Wayne Jackson grew up in Collingwood and Rob Roy. As a child, in Rob Roy, he enjoyed causing mischief at the farm and fishing with his grandfather in ponds which they stocked with trout themselves. At the age of 16, Wayne went to Toronto and landed a job at CN railway where he worked for 37 years. He loved working for the railway! Wayne also enjoyed his last 26 years of retirement in Nottawa. He loved doing whatever he wanted.

Wayne adored his son Trent. He loved just hanging out with him, having a few beers, and chatting about everything from A-Z. He was proud of Trent and his accomplishments and enjoyed the support he provided; even when Trent tried to push him to do too much sometimes. Wayne loved all Trent's friends and thought of them as family! Wayne enjoyed his fishing trips to Northern Ontario with Trent!

Wayne was a simple man. He was well-liked, even among CGMH staff, right up to the end. He was so charismatic and funny! He will be deeply missed by all those he touched! Friends may visit Wayne’s online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
