Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family and friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home in Collingwood, ON., at the age of 62 years. Bob (Bobby) was born in London, ON., and was raised in Bramalea, ON. He was predeceased by his parents Maxine (Beck) and Robert William Isaacs, and his brother Merv Isaacs. Dear brother of Norm Isaacs (Sharon), sister Cheryl and husband Gerald Soumis. Beloved father to 4 children, his two sons Robert Jr (Shannon), Dylan (Meghan), and his daughters Rikki (Tanner), and Kasey. His extended family of his partner’s children Anick Beausoleil (Jason), Austin Brunning (Stacey), and Mackenzie Brunning (Loki), and grand daughter Olivia (Declan). He was a cherished grandfather to his grandsons Jace and Konner. His family also included many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bobby found his soulmate in Rachelle Gauvreau. Their love story became one of legends. Their union was built on a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and steadfast commitment. Their love for each other knew no bounds and although their time together was short, they created their life of cherished memories together. One of Bobby’s greatest joys in life was being a father to his children, grandchildren and to his extended family. He cherished every moment spent with them, showering them with love, laughter, and wisdom. From listening to music, to sharing stories, their presence in Bobby’s life was a source of boundless joy. His love and guidance will forever be ingrained in their hearts, shaping their futures, and reminding them of the incredible bond they shared.

Beyond his roles as a partner, family man, and friend, Bobby was an accomplished Gas technician for more than 40 years. He was said to have been born with a pipewrench in his hand. His dedication, expertise and commitment to excellence made a significant impact in his time in the workforce. He was highly respected by his colleagues both in the industry and admired for his work ethic and integrity. Bobby’s compassionate nature extended beyond his family and work. He touched the lives of friends and acquaintances alike, always ready with a listening ear, warm smile, cheeky comment, and a helping hand. His kindness and generosity left an indelible impression on everyone he encountered, and his absence will be deeply felt and by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kochetkov and a special thank you to his nurse practitioners Jenn and Andrea, and the nurses and staff at Royal Victoria Hospital. They would also like to thank Dr. Kuruvilla and Erin and staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their unwavering care and support.
