It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Peggy Jean Hutchinson. Peggy passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Collingwood General Marine Hospital with her daughter Michelle by her side Monday January 15th, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m.
Peggy was known for her witty comments and her goofy personality.
Peggy loved being in the Country on her farm with the beauty of nature and her animals. She loved long drives alone to gather her thoughts. Peggy was a very humble woman who cherished family above all.
Peggy would be the first to help anyone in need and was honored to do so. She brought a smile to the faces of everyone who knew her. Peggy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family asked that you remember her for the joy that she brought to the people in her life and not the sadness of her passing.
Peggy was the daughter of the late Angel Marie McArthur and Harold Reginald McArthur, sister to John McArthur, Melvin McArthur, Paul McArthur, and Susan McArthur.
Devoted loving wife of Dale Winslow Hutchinson and mother to Tina McArthur, Michelle Johnson, and Marjorie Johnson. She will be forever cherished by the grandchildren that she loved so dearly, Donovan McArthur, Brandon McArthur, Savanna McArthur, Dakota McArthur, Mya Hope Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Ariana Johnson, and Zander Johnson.
In lieu of flowers we ask that a small donation be made to the GoFundMe page that has been set up by her sister-in-law Julia Hutchinson, the funds will be used by the family to assist in paying for the funeral costs.
Peggy will always be remembered and never forgotten. God Bless and please keep her in your thoughts and memories.
