Genna passed away peacefully in Collingwood at Campbell House after an admirable battle with cancer. She was 77.
She leaves behind her brother, Raymond Hay (Jane). She was predeceased by her parents, Doug and Jean Hay. She was the proud Aunt of Kevin Hay (Julie), Jeremy Hay and her great nephew, Brody.
She grew up in Toronto and graduated from St. Michael’s School of Nursing in 1969.
A few years ago, she moved to Collingwood. She was an avid gardener, and she especially enjoyed her neighbours on Ward’s Road.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life planned for 2 pm on September 9th at 127 Wards Road in The Blue Mountains.
