Died peacefully following a brief illness on Friday March 10, 2023 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 85. 

Frank of Stayner, formerly of Brampton, beloved husband of Catherine (nee Smith) for over 61 years.  Loving father of Lorna (Doug Lowe) and Neil (Jody). Cherished Papa  of Ian, Heather, Kayla, Aidan and Tristan.  Dear brother of Till Netherton and Margaret Law and predeceased by his brothers Jack, Bob and Angus.  Frank will also be missed by his many beloved nieces and nephews, the Smith and Sandy clan, his extended family, a life member of Mount Moriah Lodge #727, past Z Brampton Chapter #265 R.A.M. , neighbours  and many friends. 

 Frank was a kind and inspirational man with a fun-loving sense of humour.  He led an active lifestyle as a marathoner and triathlete.   He owned and operated his own business and was accredited as a master plumber.   He led a faithful life as a Mason, past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star and an active member of Jubilee Presbyterian Church.   He has left an indelible mark on so many lives. He will be missed.   

Friends and family will be received at the Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday March 16, 2023 visitation 1 pm, Service celebrating Frank’s life at 2 o'clock.   Reception to follow in the Church hall.  Please consider wearing something red to celebrate Frank’s favourite colour.  A book will be available to sign your name and add a “Frank saying” or tale of adventure. The ceremony will be available for live steam.
