It is with great sadness that we announce that Joseph Gordon Hornsby died suddenly at home in Creemore, ON with family by his side July 20, 2023, in his 68th year. Gord was born November 5th, 1955, the 10th of 12 children to Annie Mae and Raymond Hornsby. He loved his family and pets and showed it in his own quiet way and always had a joke or quick comeback. He worked for 30+ years for Graham Brothers.
He will be greatly missed by siblings Jean (Lawrence Montgomery deceased); Pat (Jack Muller), Audrey (Al Nelson deceased), Robert (Emma), Linda (Ken Baverstock) and Don (Margaret), stepsons- Daniel and Douglas Beaverstock, his many family members, friends, neighbours and co-workers. Predeceased by parents Annie Mae and Raymond, wife Patricia Cain Hornsby, siblings Ken, Alex (survived by wife Mary), Marilyn (survived by husband Fred Lindsay), Bill (survived by wife Jean), and Ted.
