Died peacefully at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in her 97th year. Jean Hobson of Wasaga Beach, formerly of Huntsville and Barrie, was the beloved wife of the late Samuel ‘Russell’ McCammon and the late George ‘Murray’ Hobson. Loving mother of Lynn Duncan (Bill), Patrice McCammon, Renee Stead, Jamie McCammon (Jane), Jeff McCammon and Peggy Peterson. Cherished by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date, “post covis” as Jean would say. Details to follow when available.
