Passed away peacefully from the presence of his family to be in the presence of his Lord from General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Thursday, August 29th, 2019, at the age of 85. Ron, beloved husband of Joyce (nee Baker) for 62 years. Loving Dad of Aubrey (Michael), Beverly (Sean) and Gary (Jiuliana). Proud Grandpa of Thomas, Tommy, Emily, Daniel, Grace, Jack, Alana, Tori and the late Billy. Dear Brother of Charlie (Audrey), Gladys Dobberthein, his twin Ruth Weston, Glenn, and the late Doris Cober. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, on Sunday September 1st, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the 6th Line Church, 1152 Concession 6 N., Stayner, ON L0M 1S0, at 10:30 am. Interment at the 6th Line Cemetery. Donations may be made to the 6th Line Church or the charity of your choice.
