…she has shuffled off this mortal coil!
With marked sorrow, today we proclaim, at the age of 79, our Edna “Mary” Gummer gave up the ghost.
Twin sister to the late Johnnie. Dedicated wife to her end, 55 years, of the late Ernie Gummer (January 2021). Extraordinary and loving mother of Sharon (Alan Palmer), & Linda (Alex Padovan). Preciously known as Eddie Big Toe, to her grandson, Memphis Palmer Gummer. Mary was predeceased by her parents George and Berniece “Granny” Scotney (nee Mitchell). Moreover, her brothers and sisters; Bill, Ray, Peg, Walt, Doug, and Sis. Survived by her younger brothers Dawson and Dan.
Also, predeceased by her in-laws Ernie and Gwen Gummer (nee Scrannage).
Mary will be fondly remembered by her many brothers/sisters in laws: Survived by Phylis, Denise, Edith and Betty. Predeceased Margaret, Joey, Doc, Gord, Jim, Jean and Rodger, Rose and Dennis.
A profoundly cherished Aunt to oh, so many! And everyone in between. To all the beautiful souls of Campbell House Hospice; especially in her last few days. Much gratitude & love for all of you! You are all amazing listeners!!!
