Died peacefully on Friday June 9, 2023 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, at the age of 69 following a battle with cancer for more than two years. Carolyn of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Fred Green for over 25 years. Loving mother of Jay Gagnon and Lori Briggs and stepmother of David and Kevin Green. Cherished grandmother of Josephine and Veronica Briggs, Masyn and Jordyn Gagnon and Makenzie Green. Dear sister of Barbara (Jack Paisley), Nancy (Mike Elgie), her twin sister Marilyn McKenna, Raye (the late Donalda) Barratt, Mark (Linda) Barratt, Elizabeth (Don Graham) and the late Bruce Barton. Carolyn will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her friends near and far. She is predeceased by her parents Augustus and Audrey Barratt. Carolyn was a kind and outgoing woman who cherished her family and friends. Her favourite pastime was playing cards with groups such as the New York Avenue Girls, the Pay Me Girls, Foxy Ladies, the King City Card Sharks, the clubhouse group at Park Place as well as Sunday bingo and trips to Casino Rama. Carolyn’s family invite those that wish to join them for a graveside ceremony on Thursday June 15, 2023 at 1 o’clock at the Wasaga Beach Cemetery.
