It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leona Grasman (nee Paquette) of Collingwood, Ontario on December 31st, 2023.
Leona was born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec to Rene and Gladys Paquette on November 2nd, 1951. Leona met her husband Klancy in 1967 and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.
Leona will be sorely missed by Klancy, their children Phil, Chris and Jason, and “daughters” Valerie, Jackie, Leslie and Heather, her sisters Darlene and Linda, as well as so many other family members and friends. Proud “Nan” to Cameron, Jamie, Alicia, Ethan, Olivia, Madalin, Sophia and Isabel, and proud great grandmother to Bryar, Rayelle and Rennley. Dear daughter, sister and sister-in-law, aunt and cousin to many loved ones.
Leona enjoyed most of all the times she could be with family and friends and cherished celebrating holidays and milestones with loved ones. Leona also loved travelling and spent winters in Florida with Klancy where they made so many friends who will also miss her fondly.
Leona, your vibrant personality, generosity and incredible love for your family and friends will be truly missed and always remembered. We love you.
A Celebration of Life will be held in future.
