On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, at the age of 89. Bert, beloved husband of Florette “Flo”. Loving father of Donna (the late Gerald) Smyth, Judith, Edward (Gail), Kelly Logan, Valerie (William) Vandervechte, and pre-deceased by Lee and Deborah. Dear grandfather of Wendy, Leslie (Sean), Christine, Richard, Tracey, Charles (Kerry), James (Alyssa), Jason, Keith, Dale, Sara, Drew, Graham, Lindsay, and Sharon. Bert will be fondly remembered by his great and great great grandchildren. Private family cremation and burial. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM with the eulogy being read at 2 PM at the outdoor pavilion at the Wasaga Sports Park, 1888 Klondike Park Road, Wasaga Beach, Ontario.
