GRAHAM, Jennifer Don

Posted

Graham

Jenny soaked up all the love possible from having her family by her side all day, and passed away Sunday night, June 20th 2021, after having put up an incredible fight against the metastatic melanoma that had stolen her young, healthy body from her. Born September 21, 1990, Jenny was in her 31st year of life, and was the most vivacious, loving soul, you could have had the luck to encounter.

Beautiful, loving daughter of Russell Graham and Donna Graham (nee Borland); hilarious, caring sister and best friend to her big brother Scott, and little (over-protective) sister, Maggie.

Forever remembered, loved and missed by her loving aunt Lorrie (Greg) Stewart, cousins Josh, Clayton and Brynne Bear; who all loved their “Jenny Benny BooBear”, aunt Vicki (Jim) Haggerty, cousins Ashlea and Aimee, uncle Stephen Borland and cousin Caleb, grandma Ruth (the late Don) Borland, aunt Tracey Graham, uncle Rob (Pat) Graham, cousins Dan and Michael. Her best friends and chosen sisters, Hillary Royal, and Kaity Southgate and their children, Ethan, Addy, Jasper and Jet; who absolutely loved and cherished their Auntie Jenn. Any and all of the friends that she so easily made throughout her life, whether it was through school years, working with you, meeting while out on the town, in one (of the two) bars of Thornbury, enjoying a day at the pier, or on one of her fun (most likely wild) weekends away.

Jenny worked Housekeeping and Reception at Mountain Springs Resort for many years, where she grew close with her coworkers and gained life-long friendships that she held dear.

Born in Collingwood, and moved to Thornbury at age 6, she grew up in the loving, close knit community that still holds her dear to this day, and always. From running and biking around the streets of her hometown with her siblings and childhood friends; playing four-square, swimming at the beach and pier, goofing off and having fun until the streetlights came on and she heard her dads’ ‘whistle’ from across town- when it was time for the kids to get their butts home. To running around the town as a young adult; (between one of the two bars); with her friends of all ages. So, care-free, loving, happy, and always smiling or letting out her beautiful, unforgettable laugh.

Her personality, and energy was an honor to behold and get to be around, anyone who met her can attest to this. Jenny possessed a rare beauty, love of life, appetite, and sense of humour that would make anyone envious. She shared all of this with everyone she loved and it was hard not to fall in love with her for it.

Her family would like to thank the outpouring of love and support from her friends near and far, family, and this amazing community. All of her nurses and Doctors at RVH in the cancer palliative unit, who took such good care of her and ensured she was comfortable while trying their absolute best to help her with her fight against the terrible disease.

Knowing Jenny is remembered by how much she made others laugh, her love, kindness, and love of life and food; is so comforting to us, her family.  It is exactly how she would want to be remembered.

As an expression of sympathy donations in Jenny’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society.  The family will be planning a Celebration of Life for Jenny at a later date. Friends may visit Jenny's online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
