Glaubitz, Melitta (nee Dahman), age 84, of Tiny Township, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, surrounded by her beloved family.
Predeceased by her mother Herta Dahman and her father Paul Dahman, as well as her departed siblings, Alfreide (Johnny), Robert (Katia). Finally in paradise, reunited with her treasured late husband, Guenter Horst Glaubitz (2008) of 48+ years, and precious daughter, Brigitte (1964). She was an astounding mother to her only surviving child, Frank and a proud mother-in-law to Stephine (Pye). Cherished and beloved Oma to Cory, Tyler, Kyle, and Faith, and dearest Tante to Karston, Heike, Dagma, Angela, and Sonja.
Born in Mönchengladbach, Germany, June 23, 1939, Melitta was a strong-minded and independent soul right to the very end. Once she set her mind and heart to something, there was no stopping her. She sailed across the Atlantic on her own at 18 looking for a better start. Upon her arrival in North America, she met her soulmate, Guenter, whom she then shared the best 48 years of her life with. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, here in Canada, and across the ocean.
