Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully at home on Tuesday February 7, 2023 in his 58th year. Ivan was the loving son of Maria (nee Gabrhelcikova) and the late Andrew Francisty. Loving brother of the late Zdenka Francisty, Peter Francisty, Dana (Jamie) Hendry and the late Andy Francisty. Ivan will be missed by his nephew Thomas and niece Sonia (Fil) and their daughter Mila and many friends and colleagues of Pilkington Glass. Ivan was a dedicated and loyal employee of Pilkington Glass for 38 years. He was a car enthusiast and loved sports cars. He enjoyed watching movies and playing chess.
Visitation will be held at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 5:15p.m. until the Funeral Service at 6p.m. Spring interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood.
