Forbes (2)

June 14, 1942 – September 5, 2022

Left us peacefully in her sleep after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Predeceased by her loving husband Ric.  Loving mother of Michaele (Mario), Kyle (Joyce), and Stacey (Bruce).  Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Alexander, Kristofer, Alexis, Joshua, and Jayden. Dear sister of her loving brothers and sisters, Delbert John (deceased) (Doris), Elva (Reg – deceased), Rae (deceased) (Willis – deceased), Reg (deceased) (Lorraine), Donna (Brian), Dale (Cheryl).

Norma grew up in Mississippi Station in Eastern Ontario where she met her husband Ric.  She spent her teenage years and early twenties in Perth, Ontario. It’s a beautiful part of Ontario and a place they always dreamed of returning to. Before they were able to return, they proudly raised their family in Toronto, Ontario.

A service will be held at Blair & Son Funeral Home in Perth, Ontario on September 28 (Ric’s birthdate) at 2:00 p.m.

Her ashes will be combined with Ric’s, and they will be released into the waters of the Mississippi River, in a private ceremony, where their children spent many years swimming and playing.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in her honor. Friends may visit Norma’s online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
