On Sunday August 15, 2021, Mae Fleming went peacefully to be with her Lord and
Saviour at Waters Edge Care Community in North Bay. In her 96th year,
Mae was the beloved wife of the late Aubrey Fleming (2005). Loving
mother of Ann Dufton (Joseph), Grace Poidevin (Murray), Peter Fleming
(Brenda-Lee), Lois Niessl (Robert), Ruth Milling (Adam), and Joan
Ouellette (Jacques). Cherished grandmother to Michael Dufton
(Jessica), Sarah Scott (Matthew), Tiffany, Nathanael, Naomi and Joel
Poidevin, Catherine Lawrence (Devin), Kurt and Derek Niessl, Abby and
Carrie Milling, and Janelle Ouellette, and 4 great grandchildren: Ella, Liam
and Cole Dufton, and Callie Lawrence. Mae was born in Midland on August 31, 1925 to Adrian and Jane Isaac and is predeceased by her 2 brothers Charles and Melvern. Mae moved to Stayner when she married Aubrey in 1957, where they lived on the
Fleming family farm, raised their family and faithfully attended Strongville

attentive, compassionate care. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday August 27, 2021 from 7 to 9 p.m.

or call us directly to schedule your arrival. Due to public health restrictions, there are limitations as to the number of people that may be present at any one time. The Funeral
Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 1
o’clock. Due to public health restrictions, the ceremony will be by
invitation only. You may participate by watching the live stream.
