Ann Marie Endicott, aged 76, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023, at Hospice Georgian Triangle (Campbell House) in Collingwood, surrounded by her loving husband and children. She had shown immense courage throughout her battle with cancer, inspiring all who knew her with her strength and resilience.

Ann is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Douglas Endicott, with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage. Her memory will also be forever cherished by her three devoted children: Craig (Emily), Michael (Kim), and Carol (Kevin). She was the proud grandmother of three grandkids, Luke, Charlotte, and Jackson. Ann is also survived by her brother, David Mapstone (Margaret), and her nephew and nieces, whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.

Ann's friendships were deep and enduring. She formed close bonds with dear friends for over five decades, a testament to her loyalty and the lasting impact she had on those fortunate enough to call her a friend. Her gym buddies from the YMCA in Wasaga Beach and her fellow Pickleball enthusiasts from Wasaga Beach Pickleball shared in her passion for active living and will remember her with fondness. Additionally, Ann formed treasured connections with her fellow cottagers on Gibson Lake, creating endless memories of laughter and togetherness by the water's edge.

Ann’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and the enduring power of friendship. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy will continue through the lives she touched as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.

Friends are invited to join the family at Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner for visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The memorial service will be held at Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd, 219 Scott Street, Stayner on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Susan Snelling officiating. Private entombment at Stayner Union Cemetery.
