Paul passed away peacefully with his family by his side. The muted hockey game played on the tv and Christmas carols sang softly in the background as we shared tears and laughter remembering him as a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend.
He touched many lives in his life; he will be remembered as a fun and funny guy who lit up the room wherever he was. Through his career as a sales and marketing executive, and his years as a passionate sports fan and participant, Paul made many good friends.
Paul is survived by his wife, Ali, sons Brad (Jenny) and Jeff ( Emily), and grandchildren Sydney, Keira, Finley and Penelope. We are grateful for the caring and compassion of the staff and volunteers at the Hospice Georgian Triangle, Campbell House, and Doctors Boyd, Irish and Gencarelli.
Paul’s Multiple Myeloma was still in remission, but the hip surgery, the covid contracted in the hospital, and the ensuing pneumonia were more than he could overcome.
Details of a celebration of Paul’s life will be shared in the new year.
