Died peacefully at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Jean (nee McInnes) for over 68 years.
Loving father of Susan Davis (Cameron), Donald Currie (Sandra) and David Currie (Tara). Cherished grandpa of Paul, Sarah, Carly, Braden, Darrien, Randal and Brooklyn. Adored by his great grandchildren Teagan, Brynn, June and Stevie. George will also be remembered by his sister Barbara Christian, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Lorraine Currie and Olive (nee Brown) and grandson Stuart Davis.
George worked for many years at the Collingwood Shipyards.
