Linda Sue Curran, RN (nee Girvan), passed peacefully December 28, 2023, age 74, at Meaford General Hospital with all her loving boys at her side.
Beloved wife of Craig for over half a century and devoted mother to Jon (Kari), Tim, and Nick (Katelynne). ‘Gammie’ of Hayden, Benjamin and Charlotte and many furry 4-legged babies. Daughter of late Dr. Ralph and Nora Girvan of London, sister of David (Beth), Judy, and Janice (Bob). Sister-in-law of Heather (John).
Her 50+ year nursing career began in Montreal, moving to Toronto and finishing with the Ministry of Health. Active in healthcare and community service. A member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church spending years supporting women’s shelters and raising money for Cancer and other health causes. Everyone was welcomed with open arms and love to her home. She was a beacon of love, strength, and selflessness leaving a legacy of compassion and joy. She epitomized resilience and grace, always putting others first. Her unwavering dedication to spreading happiness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her many friends and family will miss her engaging smile and caring positive attitude. An avid golfer in Ontario and Naples for her 'ace' and ‘eagles’.
She will be Forever with us.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held in the future.
