March 24th 1957 - November 1st, 2023

It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of Lorraine Agnes Cully on November 1st 2023 at the age of 66, due to a battle with cancer. Lorraine passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Trillium Health Partners hospital in Mississauga. Lorraine was born March 24th, 1957 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to Selina and Edwin Mason. She married her lifelong love Joe Cully at the age of 18 where they spent 50 years together; 48 of them married. Spending time with her family, travelling with Joe and making friends and memories was some of her favorite past times.

Anyone who knew Lorraine knows she was the life of the party, always smiling, laughing and taking pictures to capture each moment as all of them were special to her. Joe and Lorraine’s marriage was something everyone admired and idolized, they were the perfect couple.  The love Lorraine had for Joe was undeniable, they were never apart and always cherished their love for one another.  From a young age Lorraine worked hard, in many different skill sets and was able to enjoy an early retirement at the age of 55, living her best life for the last 10 yrs.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband Joe, her brother Norman (Leah), her brother Edwin (Tracy), sister in law Marie (Ray), sister in law Lorna (Gordon), sister in law Margaret (Paul), sister in law Wendy (Davey) and brother in law Billy (Jackie); as well as all of her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in Canada and Northern Ireland. Lorraine touched all of their lives deeply as they admired her as much as she adored each and every one of them.
