Wolfgang (Wolf) Siegfried Chowanietz passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Wolf was born November 11, 1942 in Tilsit, Germany, and immigrated to Canada in 1956 with his family. Wolf leaves behind his loving partner of 32 years, Linda Patterson, his son Michael Chowanietz, daughter-in-law Nadia and his beautiful grandchildren Abby and Carter; his brother Klaus (Kolli) and his life partner Marina along with the Ringwood and Levinsky families.
Wolf spent most of his working career at Partners Film Production, as a manager in post-production and casting.
He was one of a kind, witty, honest; a lifetime sports, boating and news devotee. A caring man. Family and friends describe him as “firecracker and a wonderful man”, “dynamic”, “a special force of nature”.
I was blessed to have had Wolf in my life, my true love and soulmate.
The family and I wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, for their compassionate and loving care that was provided to Wolf.
