Shirley Marie Brownlee born in Peterborough, Ontario December 17, 1938, left us August 6, 2023.
Shirley was predeceased by parents Beatrice and Alphonse O’Connor.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clifford Brownlee. Devoted mother of Donna (Howard) Elliott, and the late Deborah (Debbie) Dancy. Stepmother to Ron (Darlene) Brownlee and predeceased by stepson Larry Brownlee (Marjorie).
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Lisa Elliott (Matthew MacDonald), Robert (Courtney) Elliott, Kyle Brownlee, Alison Brownlee, Jeremy Brownlee, and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Ashley Brownlee.
Predeceased by brothers and sisters in law Geraldine (Gerald) Monaghan, Harry (Marg) O’Connor, William (Madeline) O’Connor, Samuel (Joyce) O’Connor, Gerald (Joyce) O’Connor, Bernadette/Betty (Ron) Black, Barbara (Tom) Connely Margaret/Margie (Bob) Kivell.
Survived by sisters in law Irene Follis, Fern Vereshack, and Linda Clarke.
She was a beloved auntie to many nieces and nephews - who were loved like her own children.
Celebration of Life at Fawcett Funeral Home - Collingwood Chapel on Sunday September 24, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with reflections at 1:30 pm.
