Passed away peacefully at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at the age of 64.
Born in Winnipeg, MB on October 1, 1958, the cherished son of the late Donald and Betty Bowden. David will be deeply missed by his caregiver and friend Wendy Crewson along with the many people that he considered family at work and church.
David was a longtime dedicated employee of Loblaw and through work developed many lifelong friendships. He was involved with Special Olympics and enjoyed participating in various sports and activities. David’s faith was an important part of his life, he was a member of Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, and we are comforted to know he is now with his Lord.
David lived everyday to the fullest. He was kind and gentle. He loved all creatures great and small, and he has left us all better for knowing him.
A service of remembrance will be held at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, 9874 Beachwood Rd. on Friday February 17, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church. Friends may visit David’s online Book of Memories at www.fawcettfuneralhomes.com
