June 1, 1954 – April 7, 2024
The family of Debbie is saddened to announce the passing of their sister, predeceased by her dad, Andrew Berriault in 1987, and Mom, Ruth (Angel) Berriault in 2021. She was a devoted caregiver to her mom until her passing.
Debbie leaves behind 8 siblings, Darlene (the late Victor) – Barrie, Dale (Bruce) – Wasaga Beach, Patsy (Ron) – Owen Sound, Randy (Debbie) – Collingwood, Sandy (the late David) – Stayner, Cindy (Tom) – Wasaga Beach, Todd (Susan) – Collingwood and Brent (Gena) – Wasaga Beach.
Debbie was a special and loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. All of whom she loved dearly.
Growing up in Barrie and then moving to Collingwood with her family, Debbie loved sports, especially her days of playing baseball and broomball. She enjoyed travelling with her mom, sisters, and cousins, lots of fun stories came from those shopping trips.
She retired from Canada Post in 2020 and always spoke fondly of her coworkers and customers. She also remained close to some of her co-workers from her time at E3. Her neighbours could always expect lively conversation and she had grown to care very much for them. We would like to especially thank her neighbours at Keeper’s Cove for their care and compassion.
Rest in Peace, our sister. You are loved and will be missed.
