Passed away peacefully at Campbell House on Friday April 12, 2024, in her 85th year.
Jean will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Murray, Shirley (Kevin) Woods, and John (Phyllis) and cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Daniel Woods and great grandmother Dustin, Dominic, and Brian.
Jean left this world to reunite with her beloved husband Reginald “Reg” Beaupre and her sons Burton, Gary, and Roger.
Jean is survived by her brothers Murray (Tracy) Medhurst and Maurice Medhurst and sisters Marie Dennis, Madeline George, Gertrude (the late John) Hawton and Brenda (Bill) MacDonald. She was the much-loved aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed by her niece Sheila Beauprie.
Small in stature with a big heart, Jean was often referred to as a “sweet lady” who cared for others and was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. There’s comfort in knowing she is reunited with those she missed so dearly, and she has earned her rest.
A service of remembrance will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Sunday April 21, 2024, and 2 p.m. Interment at Trinity United Cemetery.
