Died peacefully on Thursday June 29, 2023 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie at the age of 61.
Dave of Stayner, beloved husband of Jocelyn (nee Weir). Loving father of Elizabeth and Sarah. Cherished Papa of grandsons Tyler, Landen and Leo. Dear brother of the late Les (Mary Jane), Eleanor (Bob Watt) and Kim (Roger Burkholder). He will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, his many friends and his neighbours.
Dave was a hard working “farm boy” at heart. He loved to be farming or fixing and restoring tractors. He had a passion for anything big and noisy – from his tractor pulls, to hot rods to snowmobiles. His quieter times were spent fishing and sharing some laughs with his family and friends. He was a larger than life man who will be greatly missed.
