Died peacefully (with her daughters beside her, Melanie and Angel) after a brief illness on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Orillia at the age of 77.
Diane of Stayner, loving mother of Terry (Lisa Hendry) Vollick, Melanie Vollick and Angel (Georemy Johnston) Vollick. Cherished grandmother of Jaxon, the late Blaze and Shasta. Dear sister of Johnny Cameron and the late Allan (Ike) and Donald Cameron. Diane will also be missed by Victor Babeckas, her best friend Jackie Patrick, her neighbours, Dee and Dave, and many friends.
Diane was a community fixture. She was a wildlife custodian specializing in raccoons, migratory birds and local wildlife. She had a famous butter tart recipe and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to join her family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday May 31, 2024 from 1 p.m. for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.
