On the eve of the third anniversary of the launch of CollingwoodToday.ca, we've received some good news of our own.
In 2021, no less.
CollingwoodToday won second place in the Canadian Online Publisher's Awards for the category of Best Community News Site.
The annual awards are produced by Masthead Magazine and awards are given out to media, business, academic, and consumer online publishers.
I am very grateful to all of you who have chosen to support this site and local journalism. We all share a passion for local news and I'm glad that passion is noticeable even on a national scale.
