Here’s a round-up of some events happening this weekend in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains area.

June 22-24

The 10th-annual Salsa at Blue Festival is back with a family street party spanning three days and showcasing Latin culture through dancing, music and more. Events take place at the Village at Blue.

June 23

Georgian Triangle Humane Society Furball Gala, which takes place at Alpine Ski Club. This annual fundraiser begins with cocktails at 5:30 followed by a dinner, silent and live auction and a live band to dance to. This year’s theme is “A Night Among the Stars.” Tickets are $150 with a $75 tax receipt and can be purchased at the GTHS animal shelter or by calling 705-445-5204 ext. 221.

June 23

Dean Hollin will be on stage at the Marsh Street Centre with a new show called Rodgers and H. He will highlight the works of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. The show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $25 at the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg or at Blue Mountain Music in Collingwood.

June 23 and 24

Farmers’ markets: Check out the Collingwood Farmers’ Market at the Pine Street parking lot on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Thornbury Farmers’ Market runs Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
